Flying our passengers to their destinations, whether near or far, is the best job in the world (if you ask us). Dan and Lee have had a passion for aviation for a very long time, and have been pilots for 25+ years. Becky left 20 years of dental hygiene to join her hubby Dan in the corporate aviation world in 2017, and hasn't looked back since.
Aviation State of Mind was born while on layover, along the black sandy shores of Shipwreck Beach in St. Kitts. As we were lounging in our beach chairs, gazing out at the ocean, we were chatting about how extremely grateful and blessed we were (and still are) for our “91 Life”. Hah! 91 Life! That would look cool on a t-shirt. Or on an insulated coffee tumbler. Flight crews LOOOVE their coffee! Well, how about parts 135 and 121? We can’t leave them out…..
And so the conversations about our company consumed that layover, and the several months that followed. We started the trademarking process and kept going from there. We really wanted to create an apparel and merchandise line that was eye catching, had a cool yet classy vibe, and was unlike other styles available on the market.
